Elsa Dorlin (France, 1974) is since 2011 Professor of Political and Social Philosophy at the University of Paris 8 (France) and, since 2014, she is a member of the Center for Feminist and Gender Studies of the same center. In 2004, she received her doctorate in philosophy from the University of Paris-Sorbonne (France) with the thesis Au chevet de la Nation: sexe, race et médecine: XVIIe-XVIIe siècles. Her studies focus on the intersections between gender, race and other systems of domination.
