Eric Llaveria Caselles (Valencia, 1989) is a researcher and lecturer at the Center for Interdisciplinary Women’s and Gender Studies at the Technical University Berlin. In his PhD project, he seeks to formulate an understanding of trans and other gender marginal experiences informed by marxist-feminist analysis and gender theory as an alternative to the gender identity paradigm dominating trans theory and politics. He organized the conference “Trans Dialogues on Life, Work and Resistance” in 2022 with trans activists from Nicaragua, Argentina, Kenya, Germany, Singapore and Malaysia (www.globaltransdialogues.com).
