Carissa Newsome (She/Her/Hers) is the Coordinator in the Center for Women and Gender Equity at Bowling Green State University, and an Adjunct Faculty member at Southern New Hampshire University. In April, she graduated with her master’s degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Cincinnati. Her research interests include sex work, sex workers’ labor rights, Marxist feminist ideas on emotional labor, and feminist perspectives on contracts.
